HTProg Read CAS3+ ( 0L15Y ) EEPROM and Flash 100% OK
I write this article regarding my
ECUHELP Htprog adapter when I received.
Today I got the Extra cables. Normally, I receive the board without case (now it comes with the case), the boot cable.I I received a small adapter without any extra wires.
I managed to receive the extra adapter, which is the eeprom adapter.
I also got the programming cable adapter which has the ground and all the wires.
I also have one of the cables which is used for reset keys.
Another small cable which will fit to the colors to the schematics.
And this adapter I have it twice, this one was also included in a basic package. I also have it here
They have a sock diagram reader in the circuit.
In a few seconds they will program a CAS3.
The CAS3 is on my bench. Cables are here. I use only for test purpose. I will open right now.
It's a OL15Y.
I will use this cable.Let's see the schematics, how to solder and see if we are able to read it.
We use the function "On Bench programmer". It's a BMW, so we have a CAS access system, and CAS3+.
Right now, I'll need a CAS3+ wring to follow.
I noticed the color doesn't really fit properly, so we have on the schematic blue and light blue.
For me, these colors look the same blue, I don't know which one, I need to solder.
But I will try my best to solder the proper ones. I'll add some extra zoom.
Wires are soldered.
Connect CAS3+OL15Y to HTprog Adapter according to the schematics.
We will continue the recording from the laptop.
I will try to read without power connected. somehow external power to connect to the programmer.
So We have data from the CAS.
This is the eeprom, so we will save it.
Let's try to read also the flash. Reading fail with my current software version.
What I did I reinstall the
HTprog 3.16 version.
Now I'm going to wait to be loaded for the eeprom.
Let's see if this time it will work how we expect.
We have read also the flash.
Let see if we need again the eeprom.
We have these data: the vin, the mileage, the DME SK, of course HTprog doesn't have the key slot at least not in public data adapter.
But, as you can seee,
HTprog Clone Adapter is working reading a CAS3+.
