For newer Japanese models I use ecuhelp kt200, never had a problem. Did Mazda cx5 2.2d 2015 2 weeks ago.

edc16cp33 Nissan 2,0dci on bench, KT200 read/write/checksum works good, or in boot mode works. 


 

kt200 read write ford ranger sid209 ok, first read obd password, then remove ecu and read/write in boot mode. Reading was 2 mins, writing is 15-17 mins.

Sid 807 Ford read/write with KT200 Yes, in boot mode or in Pinout mode.

Read/Write Edc17C60 PSA with KT200 on Bench mode without any problem,Cheksum by tool ok too.

If you use the right services and proper file service, the KT200 is a good tool. The key is just to follow the right instructions.
If you can set up Windows, you can install KT200.

If it is failed, the problem is not a tool, the problem is the Moded file is incorrect. 
This tool is good.

I own some expensive original tools, but there have been instances where the KT200 outperformed them when they fell short. So experience is very important in the way to operate. Good and quality PC setup is also very important.
