pcr2.1 is good, sometimes don't have vr,needs update by vcp or any tools. pcr2.1 on 99% of cars have lock screw, some car have lock screw that need cutting to take out. what you write audi a1 has lock ecu need cut, some golf as well. pcr 2.1 is very easy by obd.

I tested reading/writing sid305 via OBD 100% working with ECUHELP KT200 first, read the password by following the instruction.

KT200 read/write 9df Hw001 via OBD / or on Bench, but a little bit long time reading. 

Mercedes edc 17c57/60 works good on Bench mode.

KT200 read 2011 BMW 535I 3.0 gas MEVD17.2.Y . It doesn't have option to read ext flash, because there is no ext flash existing in this hardware, so no option to read it, the internal flash contains Maps and processor instructions , eeprom. 

I test KT200 on several MAN EDC7C32 without problem just bench or OBD not problem.

Peugeot 308 sid807 take off and KT200 read/write in boot mode.. works like a charm.
