Tport off checksum fix and 13-14v power and write is safe. Anyway, always bench a new ecu when you never had this ecu before .if you have backup you can flash obd.
See enough in AT Group and Kess bricking ecu by VR writing and have to get an New ecu or immo off an other ecu ...
BMW all are good to remove only bmw 2er and M models ecus are on fucking places.

KT200 is a tool for reading/writing, not tuning software.
You use KT200 to read the ECU, then take that file. Afterward, with tuning software, you erase the desired codes. Lastly, you use KT200 again to write the file.
