On Bench mode, I apply 14.2 volts at 2 amps; for OBD mode, 60 amps at 13.5 volts ok.
It's crucial to know what ecu that start pump/fan and bench it insted.

It varies with the ECU. Usually, I start at 13 volts, though certain PCR2.1 require 13.5 volts, and there was one instance where I had to increase to 13.9 volts.

HW 001 & 002 work ok via obd, but takes around 2 hours to read and 15 min to write.
If you want to do it faster i suggest to do via jtag, it is much safer. If it is hw003 remove SGW.

the original power adapter is enough for most ecus BUT in some ecus more voltage is required, like 13.5-14v then you have to use a power source.

It's more reliable on the Bench. bench no problem tested it with obd just to see it worked no problem, for reading and writing, ensure you have 13v. Also, have driver seetbelt on so ignition don't turn off.
